She was born in Union County, NC on April 12, 1951 daughter of Jennie Mae Privette and the late Edmond Alexander Privette. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 7, 2012, conducted by Rev. Richard Merritt at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs.Witmore was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Witmore. She is survived by her mother, Jennie Privette of Indian Trail, sons, Jeff Witmore and wife Lisa, J. B. Witmore and wife Michelle, all of Monroe, Andy Witmore and Brenda of Stallings, brother, Jerry Privette of Indian Trail, sisters, Judy Keziah of Mint Hill, and Rhonda Ciampo of Waxhaw, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
