Shirley Ann Barrington

Shirley Ann Brown Barrington, 87, of Monroe, passed away, Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born March 6, 1935 in Tucson, Arizona, daughter of the late Webster Brown and Dorothy McIntyre Brown. She is also preceded in death by her husband Robert Mitchell Barrington. She was a faithful member of Secrest Grove Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Secrest Grove Baptist Church, 4505 Weddington Road, Monroe, NC 28110.

Mrs. Barrington is survived by two sons, Mitchell Alan Barrington (Marsha) of Lincolnton, NC, Michael Richard Barrington (Kimberly) of Biscoe, NC, a daughter, Lisa Ann Helms (Rodney) of Monroe, brother, Martin Brown of Tucson, AZ, sister, Carol Bland of Highland, CA, eight grandchildren, Jonathan Jaimes, Jana Hinson, Jessica Berlo, Alexis Barrington, Taylor Helms, Nicholas Helms, Katherine Helms and Leah Helms, two great-great grandchildren, Addison Berlo and Makayla Berlo.
