Shirley Mae Cronk, 82, of Waxhaw, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at the home of her son in Lancaster, SC. She was born April 5, 1939 in Wytheville, VA a daughter of the late George Washington and Minnie Dunford Peaks. She is also preceded in death by a son, George Pete King. Funeral services will be private. Shirley is survived by her husband of 35 years, Allen Cronk, two sons, Rick Peaks of Altavista, VA, Michael King and his wife Tabitha of Lancaster, two sisters, Kathyrn Copeland of Ivanhoe, VA, Dora Peaks of VA, seven grandchildren and nine great granchildren.
