Shirley Pressley Steele

Shirley Ann Pressley Steele, 81 of Monroe, NC passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. She was born in Union County, NC on June 29, 1942 daughter to the late Hulsey Pressley and Etta Helms Pressley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Lee Steele Jr., and three brothers, Rupert Pressley; Frank Pressley; and Henry”Bud” Pressley.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Mineral Springs Methodist Church, 5915 Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM in the church.

She is survived by her son, Robert Steele III; daughter, Beverly Steele; brother, Jackie Pressley, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a great-grandson expected in September.
