Stanley Edward Jaronczyk

JARONCZYK Stanley Edward Jaronczyk, age 85, a kind, loving, family man, died on Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at the Carolinas Medical Center. He was born in Hartford on August 1, 1918. He was raised in Radule, Poland, and as a young man returned to the United States, where he met and married Cecilia Okula, his wife of 61 years. Stan enjoyed driving and had taken many automobile trips. His love of family and church led him to sponsor many Polish families to the U.S. Some of his happier days were spent as an usher at the Corpus Christi Church in Stone Mountain, Ga. He retired after 30 years employment from Bryant Electric Co., and was an active member of the IUE Union in Bridgeport. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Okula Jaronczyk; son, Edward Jaronczyk and his wife, Irene, of Ansonia; daughter, Theresa Yatsinko and her husband, Joseph, of Matthews, N.C.; sisters, Helen Nartowicz and Teresa Sawko, both of Spring Hill, Fla.; six granddaughters; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday (TODAY) from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Service, 714 East Franklin Street, Monroe, N.C.
