Steven Wayne Baucom, 57, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He was born November 18, 1959 son to Elsie Eason Baucom and to the late Arlie Baucom. He was a current employee with Charlotte Pipe Foundry of Monroe. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 217 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm. Inurnment will follow the service at Lakeland Memorial Park. In addition to his mother Elsie Baucom, Steven is survived by his sister, Sandy Norris and husband Tim of Monroe, nieces and nephews, Coy, Jessica, Dustin, Tanner Norris and Lauren Haywood, two great nieces, Emily and Elisha Norris. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be make to donor's choice. Gordon Funeral Service Crematory is caring for the Baucom family.
