Stuart Jerome Black, Jr., 67, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015. He was born in Cabarrus County, NC on December 13, 1947 son of the late Stuart Jerome and Margaret Wright Black. Jerome was the owner and operator of S. J. Black Son and Blacks Equipment. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 PM, Monday, May 4, 2015 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery. Mr. Black is survived by Tina Price Black, sons, Timothy Stuart Black and Troy Hall Black, both of Monroe, Dennis Jerome Black of Louisiana, and sister, Beth Love and husband Alan of Cleveland, Ohio.
