Susan Lynn (Smalley) Gyles

Susan Lynn Smalley Gyles, 59, of Indian Trail, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017. She was born in Greenville, SC December 6, 1957, a daughter of the late Joseph Judson and Margaret Louise Lyons Smalley. Susan was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services for Susan will be 12 noon, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Gordon Funeral Chapel 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112, with the Rev. Dr. Chris Baucom officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM to 11:50AM at the funeral home. Susan is survived by a son, Joseph Dixon Gyles and his wife Jennifer, a daughter, Brittany Anna Louise Hoke, two sisters, Margaret Smalley Thompson and her husband Robert of Waxhaw, Barbara Smalley McMahan and her husband James of Raleigh and one grandchild, Cameron Davis Gyles.
