Susan Eleanor (Flow) Helms

Eleanor Parker Helms, 89, of Monroe passed away on May 6, 2015. She was born on February 10, 1926 to the late Dan and Minerva Flow. Eleanor is survived by her son, Bill Parker, wife Bonnie and two grandchildren, Owen Parker, wife Stacie and Alissa Parker Isaacs, husband Kevin. She also leaves behind 4 great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and special friends Jerry and Mary Lottis. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7th from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Helms at Lakeland Memorial Park, Friday, May 8th at 3:00 PM. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 302 E. Windsor St., Monroe, NC 28112.
