Sylvia “Diane” Bryant Allen, 78, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. She was born in Union county, daughter to the late Truitt George Bryant and Margaret Rape Bryant. She is also preceded in death by her husband of twelve years Jack Smith Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112 with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 2:00PM to 2:45PM.

She worked for many years as a florist with Roy White out of Charlotte, NC. She also spent time in cosmetology school and spent some of her working years working for Jerry Carnes Hair Styling.

Diane is survived by her son Michael Smith (Kay); bonus daughter Kimberly Allen (Lemonte Livingston); brother Dennis Bryant (Wanda); four grandchildren Emma Smith, Bryson Smith, Kinsley Livingston, Kiahna Livingston; her life-long friend Pete Smith; and many step-children and step-grandchildren.
