Sylvia ‘Syb” Greene Keziah, 72, of Monroe, NC passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026. She was born in Union County, NC on September 24, 1953, daughter to the late Berry Franklin Greene and Doris Nash Greene, she is also preceded by her loving husband of 54 years, Keith “Doodle” Keziah, as well as brother, Berry Greene and sister-in-law, Sharon Greene, brother-in-law Norris “Tom” Keziah, nephew, Darron Helms.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Roanoke Baptist Church, 618 Roanoke Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110 with a burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends and relatives prior to the service from 9:30AM until 10:45AM in the church.

Syb graduated from Piedmont High School, and work for Union County Public Works as well as Alvac. After retiring she was a caregiver for her mother and husband and several aunts and many others.

Sylvia is survived by her son, Jason Keziah (Carla), two brothers, Terry Greene (Teresa), and Tim Greene (Cathy), sister-in-law, Rachel Helms (Randy Tarlton), brother-in-law, Ralph Keziah (Jolene), as well as nephews, Tyler Greene, Travis Greene, Colton Greene, Eric Helms, and Casey Keziah, and nieces, Krista Griffin, Kayla Funderburk, Ramona Gordon, and Christy Williams.
