Sylvia Taylor Rorie, 60, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. She was born April 19, 1954 in Union County daughter of the late John Frank and Dorothy Lee Greene Taylor. Mrs. Rorie was a native of Union County, and was employed by Walmart of Monroe. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe NC 28110. Sylvia is survived by her loving husband, Morris Rorie, son, Jason Rorie and wife Alice, daughter, Jenni Rorie of Monroe, brother, Johnny Taylor and sister, Kathy Grainger all of Monroe. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ladies of Love Ministry, C/O Love Baptist Church, 707 Deese Road, Monroe NC 28110.
