Ted “Marty” Rapp passed away Wednesday, June, 20, 2018. He was born in Union County on August 19, 1961. Marty is survived by his parents Ted and Ann Greene Rape. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC., 28112. The family will receive friends following the service. Marty is survived by his loving wife Lauren Glendy Rapp of 32 years and two sons Jordan Rapp of Mebane, NC., and Matthew Rapp wife Katelyn of Monroe, NC., a sister, Melanie Rapp of Charlotte, NC. Marty graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1984 and has been a life-long Tar Heel. He was a devoted servant to his church family at Prospect UMC. He loved spending time at the beach, fishing, and with his dog, Buster. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
