Thomas Hamilton, Jr. 82, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was born August 3, 1937 in Chesterfield, SC son of the late Thomas Hamilton, Sr. and Ada Sellers Hamilton. He is also preceded in death by three brothers; Sylvester Hamilton, James Hamilton, and Howard Chambers, four sisters; Minnie Jean Morrow, Ann Baker, Elizabeth Mason, and Dorethea Wade. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in Hillcrest Cemetery, Stafford St., Monroe NC 28110. Thomas is survived by his loving wife Georgia Blount Hamilton, six sons; James Thomas Hamilton, Eddie Lewis Hamilton, Timothy Lee Hamilton, Alden Alexander Hamilton, Jeremiah Levon Wilson, and Matthew Douglas Chambers, six daughters; Terry Lockhart, Maria Hamilton, Betty Merritt, Dorthea Mejia, Donna Solla, and Caroline Grier, two brothers; Jerry Hamilton, and V.L. Hamilton, five sisters; Susie Ricketts, Luzetta Baker, Ethel Blackmon, Mary Alston, and Linda Bowman, twenty seven grandchildren, and thirty two great grandchildren.
