Thomas M. “Mackie” Sikes Thomas McCauley “Mackie” Sikes, 48, of Raleigh died unexpectedly at his home on January 23, 2018 He was born June 2, 1969, in Monroe, NC the son of Leonora and Olin Sikes, formerly of Monroe and now of Raleigh. Mackie was educated in the Monroe city schools and attended East Carolina University and was employed in the medical supply field. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jason Sikes, and wife Shelley; nieces, Pricilla and Caroline Sikes and by a number of cousins. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Monroe City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
