Thomas "Tommy" Smith

Thomas Harold Tommy Smith 73, passed away July 7, 2013. He was born in Mecklenburg County November 20, 1939 son of the late C. Harold and Robbie Braswell Smith. He was a retired residential electrical contractor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail (Main Campus) Indian Trail, NC 28079. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe. Tommy is survived by his wife Coleen Derrick Smith, son Greg Smith and wife Angie. Two daughters: Jamie Thompson and husband Kelly, Wendy Alexander and husband Kevin all of Monroe. Brothers; Mack Smith and wife Carolyn of Pageland and Danny Smith and wife Martine of Monroe sisters; Barbara Watkins and husband Hugh Mac and Carol P. Boone and husband Harry all of Monroe, grandchildren Scott Smith and wife Valerie; Mallory and Maddie Thompson, Payton and Emory Alexander, one great-grand child Ansley Smith. The family will receive family and friends Tuesday July 9, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.
