Thomas "Tommy" Howey Steele

Thomas (Tommy) Howey Steele, 72, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born in Union County, NC on March 18, 1953, son to the late George Steele and Betty Howey Steele. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Carpenter Steele and a sister, Pam Barrett.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday July 18, 2025, Tirzah Presbyterian Church, 7507 Tirzah Church Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the church fellowship hall.

Tommy is survived by two sons Brad Steele (Amanda) of Monroe, NC, Jared Steele (Amy) of Indian Trail, NC, a brother George Steele (Sharon), two grandchildren Taylyn Steele and Levi Steele.
