Timothy Wayne Helms

Timothy “Tim” Wayne Helms, 57, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. He is the son of the late Carl Helms, Jr. and Jane Helms. Graveside services for Tim will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Price Cemetery, 4817 Friendly Church Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Price Cemetery. Tim loved the outdoors and wildlife. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with every opportunity he had. He and his wife, Susan recently returned from a trip out west touring many National Parks and western towns. It was his dream to go on this adventure and many great memories were made. Tim was a loving husband, devoted father and very selfless person, always thinking of others rather than himself. Most importantly was his faith in Jesus Christ. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Susan; son Andrew, wife Amelia; daughter, Michele, fiancé Trey Autry; sisters, Amanda Stegall, husband Eric of Indian Trail and Sandra Williams, husband Harrison of Wingate.
