Timothy Lynn Melton, 56, of Myrtle Beach, Sc passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born in Union County on March 16, 1965, son of the late Walter Melton and Betty Funderburk Melton. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Mountain Springs Baptist Church, 2509 Mountain Springs Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial with full Military Honors will follow the service in Griffin Family Cemetery, Griffin Cemetery Road, Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM until 12:45PM in the church. Tim is survived by his two daughters, Crystal Melton Garmos, of Tampa, FL, and Kathleen Melton of Myrtle Beach, SC. brothers, David Melton (Michelle) of Pageland, SC and Roger Melton (Kathy) and numerous relatives and friends.
