Timothy “Tim” Patrick Moore, 72, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. He was born in Bethesda, Maryland on March 6, 1952, son to the late Harry Albert Moore and Virginia Sullivan Moore. He is also preceded in death by his son, Timothy “Timmy” Moore and sister, Carolyn Moore.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Tim was a woodworker by trade his entire adult life with his favorite woodworking projects being furniture creation and restoration as well as multiple projects for Liz around their home. No project was too small or too difficult; if it was made of wood he could do it. Tim also worked for the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores as their only woodworker for 12 years before he retired. Tim loved fishing, both saltwater and freshwater, in his spare time.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Anna Elizabeth “Liz” Moore, stepson Brian Stallings, wife Kerry, stepdaughter, Angela Byrn, husband Brett, daughter, Janice Moore, daughter-in-law, Lesley Moore, brothers Gregory “Greg” Moore, wife Cindy, Dr. Jeffery “Jeff” Moore, wife Kyra, sister, Colleen Moore Bennett, husband Steve, and nine grandchildren, Hudson, Holt, Hayward, Georgia, Blaze, Jasmina, Oscar, Olivia, and Paxton.
