Tressie H. Mckinney

Mrs. Tressie H. McKinney, 69, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at CMC-Union, Monroe, NC. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 14, 2007 from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 15, 2007 at 3:00 PM in Pleasant Plain Missionary Baptist Church, 3721 Shiloh-Unity Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720 with Rev. David A. Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. McKinney was born in Lancaster County, SC January 17, 1938, daughter of the late Themon and Myrtle Lowery Horton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard P. McKinney and a son Richard Eugene McKinney. She leaves to cherish her memories four sons Bernard McKinney, David McKinney and Larry McKinney all of Waxhaw, NC and Eddie Ray McKinney of Ft. Mill, SC; two daughters Bobbie Howie and Maxine McKinney of Waxhaw, NC; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; three brothers Gladstone Horton and Reece Horton of Charlotte, NC and Harold Dean Roseborough of Lancaster, SC and one sister Gerald Dean Roseborough of Lancaster, SC.
