Vann Marson Bigham, 96, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born July 3, 1919 in Union County, NC son of the late Joseph Albert Bessie Joan Coan Bigham. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mandy Bigham. Vann was a US Army Veteran, and retired from the State Highway Department. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2016 at Waxhaw Baptist Church. The family will visit prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 3:45PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Bigham is survived by two sons, Donald Bigham and Larry Bigham, a daughter, Evelyn Chappell, a sister, Emma Broome all of Waxhaw, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
