Vera Mciver Daniel

Dateline: Monroe, NC Vera McIver Daniel March 25, 1934 – June 15, 2010 Vera McIver Daniel, 76, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2010. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by Charles and Josie McIver. She is survived by her daughter Debra Tarleton and her husband Brent of Charlotte; daughter Charlene Upton and husband Galen of Monroe; grandchildren Mark, Travis, Caleb, Matthew and Cherrie; two beautiful great-grandsons; Robin Reibold a special niece; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends George and Cherri Kenyon, Naioma Tarleton, Frank and Patty Webber and Snoopy and Hank. She had the eyes of her Father in heaven, showing love, kindness, compassion and was very active at her beloved church, Wingate United Methodist. She loved God first, then family and friends, loved to do crafts, dance and sing. A service of celebration of the wonderful life of Mrs. Vera will be held on Saturday, June 19, 11:00AM in Wingate United Methodist Church, 111 Hinson St., Wingate, NC 28174, with a brief gathering of family and friends to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110, to honor the angels who live and work there or Wingate United Methodist Church, where she was an honored member.
