Vera Almira Malmstrom

Waxhaw, NC Vera Almira Malmstrom, 96, died Friday, December 26, 2008. She was born in Manton, Michigan on July 16, 1912, daughter of the late John and Lilly Saxton Isler. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Hermon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin T. Malmstrom and a son, LaVerne A. Malmstrom. She is survived by daughters, Beverly Krieg of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Ruth A. Cox of Kyle, Texas and Marilyn E. Malmstrom of Waxhaw, 9 grandchildren, 19, great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hermon Baptist Church, 9713 Lancaster Hwy, Waxhaw, NC 28173 or Samaritan’s Purse, P O Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
