Vickie Brown Massey, 66, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015. She was born April 4, 1949 Richmond County, daughter to the late Troy Ollis Brown Annie Mae Swann Deere She is also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Dean Massey, Sr. and a granddaughter Alice Nicole “Nikki” Massey. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Interment in Forest Lawn West Cemetery 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC 28208. will be held at 1:30 PM. Vickie is survived by her son Bobby “Dino” Massey, wife Casey, of Polkton, two brothers Troy Brown, wife Judy, of Monroe, and Marshall Brown, wife Susie, of Virginia, two grandchildren Savannah and Dakota Massey of Polkton, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
