Obituary

Victoria Honeycutt Smith, 82, of Kennesaw, Georgia, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on July 18, 1943, in Stanly County, North Carolina, she was the cherished daughter of the late Arthur Honeycutt and Frankie Christy Honeycutt. She was also preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Kenneth Honeycutt and Elwood Honeycutt, and her dear sister, Wanda Whitaker.

Victoria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She had a gentle spirit, a caring heart, and a deep love for her family that was evident in every part of her life. Whether through her encouraging words, welcoming home, or unwavering support, Victoria made those around her feel loved and valued.

A funeral service honoring Victoria’s life will be held at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Victoria leaves behind the love of her life and devoted husband of 38 years, Thomas “Tom” Richard Smith; her son, Charles “Chuck” McAllister (Marny); and her daughter, Danyah Hill (John). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Daniel Hill (Michelle), Cameron Hill (Brooke), Colton McAllister (Melody), and Tessah McAllister. Her greatest joy was her growing family, and she was especially blessed to be the loving great-grandmother of Jamie Hill, Charlie Hill, Caroline Hill, Mac Hill, Ayla McAllister, Abbey McAllister, and Addyson McAllister.

She is also survived by her brothers, Rodney Honeycutt (Trudy), Rick Honeycutt (Therese), and Scott Honeycutt (Hazel), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many treasured friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Victoria’s love, strength, and gentle presence will be deeply missed, but the beautiful memories she created with her family will live on for generations to come.
