Violet Stegall

Violet Helms Stegall, 89, of Marshville, NC passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born in Union County on October 25, 1932 daughter to the late Lonnie Preston Helms and Glennie Simpson Helms. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, of 70 years Albert Stegall, as well as, their son Reece Stegall, daughter in laws, Brenda Stegall and Margaret Stegall, brothers; Jack Helms, Bill Helms, Ralph Helms, and Gene Helms, sisters; Lavonia Stegall and Brenda James, grandchild Tabetha Stegall and one great grandchild. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2022 at Lawyers Springs Primitive Baptist Church, 42 Upper White Store Road, Peachland, NC 28133. Burial to follow in Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM in the church sanctuary. Violet is survived by her five sons, Kenneth Stegall fiancée Cynthia, Ronald Stegall wife Sissy, Donald Stegall wife Dong, Johnny Stegall wife Debbie and Michael Stegall, sister Betty Sue Austin, husband Jack, nine grandchildren; Jennifer Cunningham, Amy Drake, Steve Stegall, David Stegall, Emmy Smith, John Stegall, Jenna Williams, Anna Patterson, Felicia Ruppe, and fifteen great grandchildren.
