Virginia Willowdene Brooks Gann

Dateline: Monroe, NC Mrs. Virginia Willowdene Brooks Gann, 83, died May 28, 2007. She was born in Union County, NC on May 20, 1924 daughter of the late William Henry and Sena Adeline Baucom Brooks. Mrs. Gann will be taken to Hopewell Baptist Church at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 31, 2007 with funeral services to be held at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A reception will follow in the church fellowship building after the service. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, L. J. Gann, daughter, Pamela Gann of Claremont, California, and sister, Eloise Freeze of Kannapolis. The family will receive guest Wednesday, May 30th, from 5:30 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe.
