Wallace “Kymbo” Griffin, 52, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012. He was born in Union County, NC on December 5, 1959 son of the late Earl McCray and Louise Wallace Griffin. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Crossroads Baptist Church, 3300 Rocky River Rd. N., Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Emily McFarland Griffin, a son, Adam McCray Griffin of Monroe, NC, daughters, Stacey Lynn Vines of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sarah Beth Griffin of Monroe, NC, step-daughter, Nichole Thomas of Monroe, NC, brothers, Earl Mack Griffin of Monroe, NC, Boyce Richard Griffin of Indian Trail, NC, sisters, Sharon Louise Smith of Fort Mill, SC, Teresa Lawson of Rock Hill, SC and 4 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
