Walter Lyndon Beck Jr., 92, of Charlotte, NC passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026. He was born in Birmingham, AL on May 9, 1934, son of the late Walter Lyndon Beck Sr. and Glennie Greene. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Martha Dell Hill Beck, brother, Dale Beck, and sister, Carol Oswald.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 6, 2026, in Chapel of Gordon Funeral service, with Entombment to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45AM prior to the service at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.

Walter Beck, Jr., is survived by one son, Walter Beck, III, two daughters; Marsha Beck-Hathcock, Angela Price (Tony), six grandchildren; Hillary, Madelyn, Morgan, Dalton, Preston and Sterling, seven great-grandchildren, and brother, Gary Beck.
