Walter Hampton Manus

Walter Hampton Manus, 91, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on November 22, 2021. He was born in Union County on February 9, 1930 son to the late Thomas Neal Manus and Nellie Mae Helms Manus. He is preceded in death by his son Steve Manus, daughter-in-law Wanda Manus, brother Robert Manus and two sisters, Doris McCoy and Linda Keziah. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, November 26, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM until 12:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Walter is survived by his loving devoted wife of over 69 years Donnie Helms Manus, their four sons, Frank, Richard wife Cheri, Dale wife Kathy, and Danny Manus, daughter Helen Manus Renfro husband Tommy, and twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
