Wanda Lee (Norman) Conley

Wanda Norman Conley, 78, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at CMC-Pineville. She was born November 4, 1935 in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Ruby Turner Page. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Norman. Mrs. Conley was a retired food broker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Her passion was canning in the summer. She most enjoyed attending sporting events for all of her grandchildren. Wanda and Ralph travelled all over for their grandchildren’s games; whether it was basketball, volleyball or baseball. She was a member of Mineral Springs United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 11:00 until 11:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 followed by the funeral service at 12:00 noon in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Conley is survived by her husband, Ralph; sons Michael and wife Cheri Conley and Mark and wife Donna Conley; four grandchildren, Jennifer Michel Conley, Natalie Beth Bell, Wilson Dale Conley and Marcus Cade Conley; one great-grandson, Maverick Scott Bell; sister, Burnette Hayes; brother, Gene Norman, and a cherished friend, Teresa Laney.
