Wanda Sue Manus, 61, of Waxhaw, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. She was born in Union County, on January 21, 1958. She is preceded in death by her father Lawrence Helms, Jr. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:45pm prior to the service. Wanda is survived by her mother Betty Threatt Helms, her loving husband Thomas Franklin Manus, three sons; Chris Dorton of Monroe, Chad and Corey Manus both of Waxhaw, three daughters; Carla and Brandy Manus both of Monroe, Misty Griffin of Monroe, three brothers; Ronnie and Randy Helms both of Monroe, and Kenny Starnes of Pageland, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
