Wanda Elaine Melton, 60, of Monroe, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born in Union County a daughter of the late William Marvin and Dora Mills Carnes. Wanda was a member of Indian Trail First Baptist Church, East Campus in Marshville. She loved being in the outdoors and fishing. She loved people and never met a stranger. Wanda is survived by her husband of 23 years, David Melton and one brother, Dale Carnes and his wife Viola of Jefferson, SC. Funeral services for Wanda will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday April 28, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 114 Trinty Church Road, Monroe, NC 28112. A reception will follow the service for the family to visit with friends and family.
