Wanda Adams Springs

Wanda Adams Springs, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019. She was born September 13, 1934 in Mecklenburg County, NC daughter of the late Leroy Adams, Sr. & Madelean Helms Adams. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles Ray Springs, two brothers; Leroy Adams, Jr. and Tom Adams. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church, where she was a charter member, a Sunday School Teacher, and an Awana Club Teacher. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1: 30 PM until 2:45 PM in the church sanctuary. Wanda is survived by a son Danny Ray Springs his wife Linda, a daughter Penny S. Bowden her husband Kenneth all of Monroe, two brothers; Johnny Adams, and Larry Adams, a sister Marie Quick, six grandchildren; Melisa Quates, Ryan Springs, Jason Springs, Matthew Springs, Joshua Bowden, and Marcie Elliott, and eleven great grandchildren.
