Warren Earl Dover, 75, of Monroe NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was born in Charlotte NC on November 1, 1947 to the late Warren Dover and Norma Jane Crowe Dover.
Warren was a devoted and compassionate brother, father, grandfather and friend. Warren served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and served his community as a Mecklenburg County police officer for 19 years. He was a Master Mason since 1978, Past Master of James K. Polk lodge, member of Waxhaw Lodge, a District Deputy Grand Lecturer and member of the Oasis Shrine and Royal Order of the Jesters.
Warren is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Teresa King Dover. He is survived by daughters Keely Moser Robison (Ed) and Faith Dover Ward (Brad), son Seth Poole (Missy), sister Rose Upton (Larry), brother James Dover, brother-in-law Wayne King (Kay), and grandchildren Chandler Johnson, Mallory Johnson, Nicholas Robison, Alyssa Spain (Kevin), Matthew Robison (Ariel), Zoe Ward, Olivia Poole, Gavin Poole, and dog Paris.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Mineral Springs United Methodist Church, 5915 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Rd., Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rights and Military Honors.
