Wayne Coley, Sr., 69, died in Monroe, NC on Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was born September 23, 1946 in Bladen County, son to the late Z.K. Coley and Lola Brantley Coley. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Fanny Coley Storms He graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 1964. Mr. Coley was the owner of Coley Siding, Gutters and Windows, a successful home-improvement business, until his untimely death. A Celebration of Life to celebrate his life and honor his numerous accomplishments will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Pond Baptist Church, 78 Wolf Pond Church Road, Pageland, SC 29728. The family will have a private graveside service at the Coley-Gulley Family Cemetery in Durham County at a later date. He is survived by two sons, Millard Wayne Coley, Jr. and Elliott Lane Coley; one daughter, Coree Coley Scrittorale; three granddaughters, all of Marshville, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Coley London of Durham, NC and Shelby Jean Farrow; two brothers, Ronald and Charles Coley of Elizabethtown, NC. Wayne loved his family and adored his granddaughters. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother and gave us much joy and happiness.
