Wilhelmena "Willie" Bigham

Dateline: Waxhaw, NC Wilhelmena “Willie” Bigham, 82, died Monday, January 28, 2008. She was born in Union County, NC on February 17, 1925 daughter of the late Harrison and Blonnie Hinson Plyler. Mrs. Bigham was a retired employee of Comar Industries. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Waxhaw Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. W. Bigham and sister, Edna Carter. Mrs. Bigham is survived by a son, Thomas “Tommy” R. Bigham of Monroe, daughter, Bonnie L. McManus of Waxhaw, sisters, Ruby Robinson of Waxhaw, Peggy Helms and Edith Ivone McManus both of Monroe, and one grandson, Timothy Bigham. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC.
