William “Bill” Lee Underwood, 79, of Monroe, NC passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. He was born in Union County on January 3, 1943 son to the late Mary Alice Kiser and W.L. Underwood.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM until 12:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory. Burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Faye Shultz Underwood, son, William Chuck Underwood, daughter, Lisa Underwood Kuopus, husband Jeff, granddaughter, Haley Kuopus Liles, husband Dylon and sister, Evelyn Belk.
