William Edward Dunster, 81, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. He was born in Oldham County, Kentucky on November 28, 1931 son of the late William Edmund and Odella Parkman King Dunster. Mr. Dunster was a US Navy Veteran. A reception will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. with memorial services to follow. Private burial services were held. Mr. Dunster is survived by a son, William Allen Dunster of Monroe, daughters, Melissa L. Furr of Stanfield, NC, Beverly Ann East of Pikesville, Maryland, Deborah Jane Helmrich of Powell, Ohio, sister, Linda Lococo of Louisville, KY., 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Lyon Dunster and a sister, Dorothy Ann Dunster.
