William Edward Dunster

DUNSTER, WILLIAM EDWARD, 81, of Monroe, NC, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. He was born in Oldham County, KY, on November 28, 1931 son of the late William Edmund and Odella Parkman King Dunster. Mr. Dunster was a US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Lyon Dunster; and a sister, Dorothy Ann Dunster. Mr. Dunster is survived by a son, William Allen Dunster of Monroe; daughters, Melissa L. Furr of Stanfield, NC, Beverly Ann East of Pikesville, MD, and Deborah Jane Helmrich of Powell, OH; sister, Linda Lococo of Louisville, KY; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A reception will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC, 28112, with memorial services to follow.
