William Ronald Forbis

Dateline: Monroe, NC William Ronald Forbis, 62, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011. He was born in Anson County, NC on February 3, 1949 son of the late Howard William and Dorothy Louise Helms Forbis. Mr. Forbis was a self employed electrician. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Forbis is survived by his wife, Vickie McClain Forbis, sons, Dwayne Forbis and wife Wendy of Wingate, Dale Forbis and wife Amanda, Nicky Forbis and wife Laura and Andy Forbis and fiancé Nikki, all of Monroe, grandchildren, Garrett, Brooklyn, Cameron and Eric Forbis, brothers, Roger Sikes of Rockingham, David Sikes and Kenneth Sikes, both of Monroe, sisters, Teresa Blackwelder of Harrisburg and Kathy Keziah of Monroe. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:30 until 1:45 prior to the service at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
