William Homer Jr. Price

William Homer Price, Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013. He was born August 7, 1935 in Union County, son of the late William Homer and Lola Simpson Price. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Price Griffith and his brother, Pierson Price. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 3:30 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1417 West Unionville-Indian Trail Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends and family at the home of Lisa Price Clontz. Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Linda Moore Price; a son, William Lee Price and wife Patti of Waxhaw; daughters, Kathy Price Fincher and husband Darrell, of Monroe, and Lisa Price Clontz, of Monroe; brothers, Warren Lane Price and wife Gloria of Woodbridge, VA and Archie Vaughn Price and wife Diane of Monroe; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
