William Reid Maye

William Reid Maye, 61, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. He was born in Mecklenburg County on November 26, 1959, son to the late Lewis Austin Maye and Margaret Driggers Maye. He is also preceded in death by his grand-daughter, Lily Young and a brother, Michael Maye. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079, on Friday, April 30, 2021. Burial will follow in Ritch Cemetery, 6701 Indian Trail Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM until 1:45PM in the church sanctuary. The service will also be live steamed at https://fbcit.online.church/ Reid is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Caryon Elaine Eberhardt Maye and their two sons, Austin Maye, wife Amanda, of Monroe, James Maye, wife Leanne, of Unionville, daughter, Katie Maye Young, husband James, of Georgia, seven grandchildren, Hannah, Landon, Logan, Abigail “Abby” Maye, Daniel, Emma and Jake Young, sister, Lisa Maye Banks, nephews Cody Banks, wife Kayla and Josh Banks, Aunt, Wanda Johnson, brother-in-law, Randy Eberhardt.
