William Edward Moloney Sr.,91, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on January 9, 2025. He was born in Mineola, NY on January 2, 1934, he is the son to the late Thomas Francis Moloney and Marie Teresa Wall Moloney. He is also preceded by his three brothers, Thomas Moloney, James Moloney, and John Moloney.

A memorial mass will be held at 1:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28277. Interment will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery.

William is survived by his wife of 70 years Dorothy Jose Moloney, sons, William Edward Moloney Jr., (Karen), Thomas Joseph Moloney (Christine), and Paul James Moloney, two daughters, Jane Berger (Arthur), and Jill Moloney, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
