Mike Mosley

William Michael Mosley, age 73, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Atrium Union Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Michael was born August 29, 1949 in Union County, son to the late Irene and Arlin Mosley.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday September 25, 2022 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church 5300 Nesbit Rd. Waxhaw, NC 28173. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Gordon Funeral Service 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Mary of 50 years, three daughters; Carey Mosley, Dana M. Broome (Jared) of Waxhaw, and Amy M. Holsten (Pete) of Indian Trail, four grandchildren; Will Mosley (Morgan), Blake Broome, Jac Holsten, and Ella Holsten, two sisters; Margaret Hill (Roger) and Terry Eubank (Mike) of Waxhaw and many nieces and nephews.

Mike served 3 years in the United States Army stationed in Bangkok, Thailand and Ft. Benning Georgia where he later worked in civil service.

He was a longtime employee at Schrader and at Scott Aviation in Monroe. He was a poultry farmer and raised angus cows. He loved the Lord, his family, and church family at Bethlehem UMC, where he attended his whole life. He loved the farm, nature, and hunting.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his honor may be made to Bethlehem UMC, 5300 Nesbit Rd. Waxhaw, NC 28173.
