William Walter Spin Spittle, Jr., 73, of Waxhaw, NC, passed away Wednesday, January, 18, 2017. He was born July 31, 1943, in Union County, NC to the late William Walter Spittle, Sr. and Docher Rita McManus Spittle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Gordon. Mr. Spittle is survived by his wife, Linda Gordon Spittle, sons, Marty Spittle and Eric Spittle, both of Waxhaw, daughter, Pamela Spittle Sterling and husband, Allen, of Waxhaw, brother, Ricky Joe Spittle of Waxhaw, sister, Alice Lowery of Waxhaw, ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. The family will visit with friends and relatives from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 22, 2017, in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Waxhaw City Cemetery.
