William Richard Tyson, 56, born April 3, 1970, passed from his earthly life Sunday, April 12, 2026.

He is survived by his father, Richard Sibley Tyson, daughter, Miranda Hefner, grandson, Liam Hefner, and his uncle, James Michael, “Mike” Tyson.

Richard graduated from Parkwood High School in 1989. Following that, he worked in the masonry trade. He was fond of the outdoors and loved participating in hunting and fishing. He was an excellent deer hunter, as evidenced by his many trophies.

Richard was a kind person who would help anyone, even animals as evidenced by the rescue of his companion, Mac, a pit bulldog. A ready smile and gentle ‘Hello” were trademarks.

His quiet and meaningful life will be missed by all who knew him.

His life for the past year had been challenging and painful, but he endured the worst with grace and dignity. He will be missed.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
