Willie Jackson Long, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born in Hoke County, NC on September 22, 1933. The family will receive friends 2:00 PM Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC, with funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Mr. Long is survived by a daughter, Darlene Long Philemon of Monroe, 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
