Yvonne Jacqueline Cordero

Yvonne Jaqueline Steinemann Cordero, 82, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Hospice House of Union County. She was born February 1, 1940 in the Dominican Republic, daughter of the late Herman Jacob Steinemann and Candelaria Suero.

Yvonne previously lived in Florida and had for the past year resided in Monroe, NC. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and a member of Kingdom Hall / Waxhaw in Ballantyne, NC.

Yvonne is survived by her son, Alexander B. Cordero of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Yvonne J. Cordero-Steinemann of Monroe, NC; brother, Carlos Lagares of the Bronx NY; sisters, Emma Cilwik of MA, Lizel Contin of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The family of Mrs. Cordero will hold private services at a later date.
